1. Start with an Example
Grab an old email your team has sent that already feels on-brand. Maybe it’s light and witty. Maybe it’s confident and direct. That sample becomes the foundation of your Style Guide.
Example:
“I’ll bet your calendar is already stacked higher than a Jenga tower. I’ll keep this quick—no topple, I promise.”
This isn’t just copy. It’s a blueprint for tone.
2. Extract Voice & Formatting Notes
From that sample, turn voice into rules. We recommend giving the email to an LLM and asking it to generate a style guide based on it. For example:
Voice & Tone: Conversational, respectful of time, confident without jargon, lightly humorous.
Formatting: Short paragraphs, casual pacing, avoid feature dumps, focus on credibility + curiosity.
Already have a brand guide? Even better. You can feed it directly into the system.
3. Add It to Your Outreach Agent
In the Campaign Editor, go to Settings → Style Guide. Replace the default with your notes. You can even create different style rules for first-touch emails, follow-ups, or LinkedIn messages.
4. Test and Adjust
Generate sample outreach in the People tab. If the tone feels slightly off, refine your Style Guide until it clicks. The more specific your guidance, the more authentic the output.
